1. Controller

QPADEL SPORTS & RECREATIONAL CLUB L.L.C. (“we”) is the data controller for personal data collected through EuroPadel.ae, bookings, memberships, and visits to the club at DIP 1, Plot 598-389, Dubai.

2. What We Collect

• Identity: Name, date of birth (if needed for junior programmes), and nationality if required for club records.
• Contact: Mobile number, email, and WhatsApp number.
• Booking and purchase information: Booking history, purchase history, membership status, and court preferences.
• Payment information: Payment references. We do not store full card numbers if a payment gateway is used.
• CCTV: CCTV images on site for safety and security, if cameras are installed.
• Website data: IP address, device and browser information, cookies, and pages viewed.
• Communications: Information contained in communications you send to us.
• Emergency contact: Emergency contact information if you provide one.
• We do not intentionally collect special-category data such as health or religion unless you tell us about an injury or accessibility need so we can help you play safely.

3. Why We Use Your Data

We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To create accounts, take bookings, and process payments (contract).
• To run memberships, leagues, and coaching (contract / legitimate interest).
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and service messages (contract).
• To send marketing, including offers and opening news, only if you opt in or as otherwise allowed (consent / legitimate interest).
• You can opt out of marketing at any time.
• To keep the club safe, including through CCTV and incident records (legitimate interest / legal obligation).
• To improve the website and our operations (legitimate interest).
• To meet accounting, tax, and licensing duties in the UAE (legal obligation).

4. Cookies

• The website may use essential cookies so that the website functions properly.
• Optional analytics and marketing cookies may also be used.
• A cookie banner should allow you to refuse non-essential cookies.

5. Sharing Your Data

We may share personal data only with:

• Payment providers and the booking-engine vendor.
• IT, website, email, and hosting providers.
• Professional advisers and, where required, courts, police, or UAE regulators.
• Coaches or partners where necessary to deliver a service you have booked.
• We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers Outside the UAE

Some tools, including email, booking, and analytics services, may process data outside the UAE.

Where this happens, we will use appropriate safeguards required by the PDPL.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Booking and invoice records: At least as long as UAE accounting rules require, typically 5 years.
• Membership files: For the life of the membership plus a reasonable period.
• CCTV: For a short security period unless an incident is being reviewed.
• Marketing lists: Until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record.

8. Your Rights Under the PDPL

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

• Access to your personal data.
• Correction of your personal data.
• Deletion of your personal data.
• Restriction of certain processing.
• A copy of your data.
• The ability to object to certain processing.
• Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

You may also lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

9. Children

• We do not knowingly market to children.
• Junior player data is collected from a parent or guardian.

10. Security

• We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
• No website or club system is 100% secure.
• Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been misused.

11. Changes

We will post updates to this Privacy Policy on this page and change the “Last updated” date whenever the policy is updated.
